André Dezat took over the family vineyards in 1948 and became actively involved in promoting the wines of Sancerre. In the 1970's, he was joined by his sons, Louis and Simon. The winery was then modernized with new facilities and gained new impetus, particularly in terms of the production of wines from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Today, Andre's grandsons Arnaud and Firmin Dezat are the new generation and take the most active role in the family business.
The Andre Dezat estate spans 45 ha of vineyards across various soils rich in "Terres Blanches" (chalk), limestone and "silex" (flint), that bring complexity, purity and fine character to the wines produced. This special terroir, combined with a historical know-how, make Andre Dezat wines sought after and enjoyed more than ever by consumers around the globe.
Made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes this crips and dry rose is deliciously light with red summer berries. This dry rosé is deliciously light with crushed red berries aromas, ideal as for a beach day, apéritif or with a light meal.
