Founder Jason Trulby began his life-long career in wine working as a bartender during college. He developed a deep appreciation for the harmony of food & wine together. After college he received an offer to work for a distributor & 20+ years later he’s still at it–having worked for distributors, wineries & later creating his own brokerage. He founded Centered wines to reflect a classic style, as he puts it, “wines that can share the table with food, wines that don’t overwhelm–wines that are balanced & centered.”
At Centered, the signature winemaking style is based on balance. The word "centered" holds deep meaning. It symbolizes a view on living well & our winemaking reflects a harmony of flavor and structure where both are connected and equivalent. The final wines are richly layered & reveal themselves in the glass, bit-by-bit. Centered Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon displays exquisite aromas of plum and blackberry framed by notes of sage and cassis. Velvety plush tannins and elegant structure give a full-bodied mouthfeel that leads to flavors of ripe dark fruit, earth, red cherry. The finish is elegant, long and lingering.
