Blessed with a confluence of natural factors, Chêne Bleu has the benefit of an exceptional location, multifaceted geology, and a southern Rhône climate with soils more typical of the northern Rhône.
Isolated and protected, high in a mountain saddle, Chêne Bleu has its provenance in a unique, four-corner borderland of the département of Vaucluse in the southern Rhône, where the boundaries of Gigondas, Côtes du Ventoux, Côtes du Rhône and Séguret come together.
Le Rosé is made in full respect of Nature, eschewing commonly-used chemical additives and fining agents. Its rich texture, welcome complexity, surprisingly long finish and aging capability indicate a serious food rosé, which appeals to oenophiles and gastronomes, as well as traditional rosé consumers.
Pale pink, clear with bright tints, the nose is complex yet delicate, blending white fruit and redcurrant aromas with a floral touch. On the palate is balanced, full-bodied and fresh, with aromatic consistency between the nose and the palate.
