In 2010 he returned home and founded his estate in Ribera del Duero. Barona's youngest vineyard was planted in 1948, and is leading the charge in Ribera away from commercialization and towards a recovery of what made Ribera del Duero famous - traditionally farmed, old field blended vineyards of Tinto Fino planted at high altitudes.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"row j-border-top\"\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"col-sm-7 j-data j-border-left\"\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter a rigorous sorting of the grapes, the bunches are destemmed but not crushed.
