Sandro Fay sustainably farms 14 hectares in the Valtellina region of Lombardy. Their vineyards are placed throughout the terraced hillsides rising up to the Alps. The Nebbiolos of Sandro Fay are most notably differentiated by the effects of altitude and exposure for each of the parcels.
This 100% Nebbiolo is a must try for any Piemonte fan. A great introduction to the lesser known northern Italian Nebbiolo's from Valtellina. A delicious wine with crush berries and herbs aromas. On the palate is light and delicious. Very delicate with a smooth finish.
