Weingut Ingrid Groiss operates as a true small family business with Ingrid at the helm, her father helping with tractor work, and her mother assisting in the vineyards. The family oversees 20 hectares (49.4 acres) of organic vineyards, crafting a focused range of wines, including four single vineyard wines grown on 50-year-old vines. Ingrid Groiss studied winemaking at Universität für Bodenkultur and returned home to eventually inherit vineyards from both her mother’s and father’s sides of the family.
