Clear and glistening, the Côte de Brouilly of the Domain releases with air contact subtle red fruit perfumes on which it has been working during its sleeping year. Inside the mouth, it develops its tender and delicates aromas to leave to the palate a keen and constant souvenir of Beaujolais delicacy.

The strength of its temper resides in its balance that shows its ability to bring lightness and firmness at the same time.

This is a very old school Beaujolais in the best sense: beautiful garnet color, beguiling aromatics, and a burst of refreshment in the mouth—and that burst is a savory, mineral, toothsome thing because of the domaine’s high elevations and because of Brouilly’s meager volcanic soils. Some crus emphasize soil notes, others give fruit, but only good Côte de Brouilly gives stone in the flavor.
