County Line - Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2022

IN STOCK

It was on one trip across the Mendocino and Sonoma County line in pursuit of cool-climate vineyard sites that the name County Line was born. The first vintage was solely dedicated to producing a dry Rosé from a whole-cluster pressed Champagne clone of Pinot Noir, and a handful of varietals naturally followed. A companion label to Radio-Coteau since 2003,  County Line remains committed to organic and holistic farming practices that promote biodiversity in the vineyards and on the farm. This dedication is seen in the County Line label artwork, which features various animals found on the farm that all have a part in maintaining a healthy agroecosystem.

Led by winegrower and proprietor Eric Sussman,

Radio-Coteau is a modest team of farmers, cellar hands, customer liaisons, and creatives. Like the many elements essential to a healthy and diverse farm. They work in tandem to bring County Line from the vineyard to your glass.

Organically grown Sonoma Coast fruit. Handcrafted in Sebastopol, California. Barrel aged in neutral French oak. Bottled unfiltered

A harmonious balance of fruit and earth, the 2021 County Line Pinot Noir opens with notes of raspberry compote, strawberry rhubarb pie, wild sage and dried clove. Rounded tannins further accentuate the bright berry flavors and warm spice nuances, creating an alluring density in this refreshing, medium-bodied wine. Serve with a slight chill or at cellar temperature with an herb-crusted pork loin or root vegetable tarte Tatin.
