Wine runs deep in the Faiveley family’s blood, as they have been rooted in Bourgogne, its history, and its culture for almost two centuries now. Their values have remained unchanged over the last seven generations and are based on a deep attachment to the Bourgogne region, an instinctive passion for the terroirs, and an innate respect for man and his work. Today, the Faiveley family is one of the most important owners of diverse vineyards in Burgundy totaling 134 hectares, with holdings spreading from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte Chalonnaise, producing polished, collectible reds and whites.
Aged 15 months in French oak barrels, 30% new oak.
"Cherry, raspberry and plum fruit is woven into the silky texture, picking up floral, earth, iron and oak spice notes while building to the lingering aftertaste. Shows fine balance and length; this just needs time to integrate. Best from 2027 through 2040. 2,770 cases made, 554 cases imported.” - 92 Points, Wine Spectator
“Just bottled. A robust and refreshing purple colour. A little burnt rubber reduction straight after bottling. Plenty of fruit here on the palate, raspberry seedless, plenty of energy, and a very good fruit acid balance.” - 90 Points, Jasper Morris
