Rocche Costamagna - Barolo 'Rocche Dell'Annunziata' 2017

Rocche Costamagna is located in La Morra, the most important municipality within the Barolo denomination, both in terms of surface area and number of winemakers. A story of dedication to the vineyards and wine-making traditions, with a constant commitment to elevating the quality of the wines, by giving value to the extraordinary terroir of La Morra. The roots and the heritage of the winery is nested in Rocche dell’Annunziata, the prestigious Barolo cru which the winery has had the honor of cultivating for over two centuries. The historic cellars, built during Napoleon’s years in the heart of the ancient village of La Morra, have been recently restored and returned to their ancient splendor, to welcome guests in a relaxed and elegant ambiance, where a great wine experience will meet the warm and generous hospitality of the Langhe.

The Nebbiolo grapes come exclusively from the vineyard “Rocche dell’Annunziata”, one of the historical and most renowned crus of La Morra.

The vinification is traditional, with a maceration that can last for about three weeks. The wine is then aged for 18 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Elegant and soft on the palate, it is characterized by fruity notes of raspberry, surrounded by a floral, spicy and balsamic bouquet.
