Bertani - Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2010

Grapes are dried in traditional drying rooms, without forcing temperature or humidity controls. Then they rest on racks for 99 days and are crushed in early January. Aged for 8 years in 50-100 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
A fantastic, Barolo-like nose of great aromatic dimension and class. A palate of huge concentration with such pure lines: extremely intense and focused. Lovely grainy tannins and a cedary quality to the whole. This is a monumental wine which dazzles with its complexity and beauty.
