The history of Ca del Bosco can be traced to the mid-1960's, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a house on a hill in Erbusco, surrounded by a dense forest of Chestnuts, which was known locally as "Ca' del Bosc". Today the winery is known for its production of Franciacorta. Annamaria's son Maurizio Zanella, who is celebrated as one of the great figures of the revival of Italian wines, reinvigorated the domain allowing it to reach the highest level of excellence. Here tradition and technology are at the service of the vine and the terroir and great care is taken to limit the amount of intervention. The domain stretches over 150 hectares in the Franciacorta appellation.

77% vintage wines 2022, 18% reserve wines 2021, 5% reserve wines 2020. 25 months sur lie aging. 2.5 grams/liter dosage.

"Packaged in a transparent bottle and an easily recognized yellow-gold label, the NV Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige Brut is a blend of 75% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Bianco and 15% Pinot Nero. This is among Ca' del Bosco's most affordable and accessible sparkling wines. It offers steady consistency year after year. I've always loved the bouquet of this wine. It shows a slightly spicy side that reminds me of Christmas oranges nailed with cloves. In the mouth, the wine is lean and crisp with fine and persistent perlage." - 91 Points, Robert Parker

"Though rich and creamy, this wine is focused by finely cut acidity, resulting in a lithe version overall. The smoky mineral undertow mixes with flavors of poached apple, toasted brioche, lemon curd and vanilla, followed by a lasting finish." - 90 Points, Wine Spectator
