Wine runs deep in the Faiveley family’s blood, as they have been rooted in Bourgogne, its history, and its culture for almost two centuries now. Their values have remained unchanged over the last seven generations and are based on a deep attachment to the Bourgogne region, an instinctive passion for the terroirs, and an innate respect for man and his work. Today, the Faiveley family is one of the most important owners of diverse vineyards in Burgundy totaling 134 hectares, with holdings spreading from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte Chalonnaise, producing polished, collectible reds and whites.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels, less than one third of which are new, with regular stirring.
"This tastes like a 1er cru white Burgundy, but for a much friendlier price. Cool and delicate with a haunting herbal freshness. Very sophisticated with excellent concentration. Fantastic graceful texture on the quite sleek and focused medium-bodied palate. Very long, clean and cool finish.” - 94 Points, James Suckling
