Founded in 1850, Domaine Laroche is one of the most respected and largest owners of premier and grand cru vineyards in Chablis, and has led movements to raise the quality of the appellation with the creation of a charter of excellence for the grand cru producers. Today, Domaine Laroche still produces and ages its premiers and grands crus in the historical cellars of its headquarters, the Obédiencerie.
Aged on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks and 15% in 55hl foudres for 6 months.
"15% aged in foudres, the rest in stainless steel. Pure and pale lemon, with a more natural Chablisian nose, classy white stone fruit through the middle, and a little marine touch behind. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Jun 2024." - 89 Points, Jasper Morris
"There is just enough reduction to blur the nuances of the nose on the citrus and pear aromas that are trimmed in subtle wood influence. Here too the mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors dials up the size and weight. Drink: 2027+. (Oct 2024)” - 89 Points, Burghound
"A ripe, fruity style, yet this shows textbook Chablis flint, lemon and apple flavors. This round, harmonious and juicy version lingers nicely on the finish. Drink now. (6/24/24)” - 88 Points, Wine Spectator
