ABOUT - WHEN WINE BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
Many of you know that Bernardo and I are originally from Venezuela. Like so many Venezuelans around the world, the devastating earthquake has left us heartbroken.
Our families are safe, and for that we are profoundly grateful. But countless others have lost loved ones, homes, and everything they worked so hard to build. As rescue teams continue searching through the rubble, many families are still waiting and hoping. They need our help—both today and in the difficult days ahead.
We've been deeply moved by the incredible outpouring of support from around the world. The kindness and solidarity have been overwhelming, and we truly don't have the words to express how grateful and humbled we are for the international help already reaching Venezuela—from donations and rescue teams to volunteers and humanitarian organizations. The support from so many people and countries has been nothing short of extraordinary, and the compassion, generosity, and willingness to help have brought hope to so many during an unimaginable tragedy.
Wine has always been our way of bringing people together. Next Wednesday, July 8th, we'd like to use that same spirit of community to help those who need it most. We will host a fundraising wine tasting, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to organizations providing meaningful aid on the ground in Venezuela. We are committed to ensuring these funds reach people and organizations making a difference.
Instead of our usual guided tasting, we're doing something a little different. We reached out to our import partners, and without hesitation they came together to make this event possible. Each has generously contributed wines and their time to help support this cause.
Four of our import partners will each be pouring three wines, creating twelve wines to discover throughout the evening. We'll also be opening a selection of special bottles from the Vinonueva collection to share with everyone.
Think of it as an open-house style wine tasting. You'll be free to wander from table to table, taste at your own pace, chat with the people pouring the wines, ask questions, compare favorites, and connect—all while supporting a meaningful cause. There won't be a formal presentation or masterclass—just great wines, great conversations, and a shared purpose.
If you're able to join us, we would love to have you there. If you can't attend but would still like to help, you can support the cause by purchasing a 'Donation Ticket'.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Venezuela and for reminding us how powerful a caring community can be.
With gratitude,
Bernardo & Ana
