Glatzer - Pinot Noir Red Carnuntum 2021

Hanna is Walter Glatzer’s daughter, Walter produces excellent, classic wines in Carnuntum, just south of Vienna and we have worked with his estate for a very long time. Hanna was attending university and majoring in pre-law before she realized that her true passion was in winemaking and decided to transfer to the esteemed German winemaking school in Geisenheim. At the same time, she also started making natural wines from her family’s certified organic vineyards. With help from her younger brother Mattias, she is producing delicious and drinkable, playful wines.

This certified organic Pinot Noir is a brilliant ruby red shade with notes of wild strawberry, rose petal, and a touch of tomato skin. Similar notes continue onto the palate with a light structure and mouthwatering, bright acidity. Best served with a slight chill. Pair with dishes like Moroccan chicken tagine or smash burgers.
