IN STOCK

Founded in 1959, Domaine William Fèvre is at the very heart of the Chablis vineyards. Since its founding, Domaine William Fèvre has been taken up with the desire to produce indisputable genuine and fine wines, bringing along a very personal experience in Chardonnay. All the efforts have but one goal – to finely express the subtle most variations in the greatest Chablis crus. Today, Domaine William Fèvre is one of the most established and renowned estates in Chablis.

Over the years the domain has acquired new vineyards in Chablis, all located in the historic terroirs. William Fèvre has become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus.

is situated on the river Serein’s sloping right bank providing excellent exposure which enables it to express its personality. The result is a charming, rich and supple wine, with characteristic Chablis minerality.

Aged for 13 to 14 months, of which 5 to 6 months on fine lees in French oak barrels, for 40 to 50% of the harvest. The end of maturation occurs in small stainless steel vats.

Very aromatic bouquet, combining fruity and floral notes. Nicely elegant palate that blends power, raciness and roundness.

Pairings: Fish, shellfish and other seafood, grilled or in a cream sauce. Poultry and white meat, grilled or in a cream sauce.

"Aniseed with steel and stone on the nose, as well as lemons and green apples. Full-bodied and really intense in the center palate with exotic flavors, such as mango. White pepper, too. Lively finish. Drink or hold." - 95 points, James Suckling
