The history of the Alonso del Yerro is a beautiful family story of passion, dreams and enthusiasm . This story is the same one that each of the members of the Alonso del Yerro family share since, in 2002, we decided to leave Madrid to buy 26 hectares of Tempranillo vineyards planted 15 years ago and settle in the Finca Santa Marta in Roa. , Burgos. That's when the dream started.

María is the star wine of Alonso del Yerro. It is only made in the best vintages. It is born from the selection of two plots from the Alonso del Yerro complex: El Circo , a clay slope that gives the wine depth and structure, and Violeta , a calcareous gravel slope that delivers more aromatic wines. But if there is one thing we can highlight, it is that they do not do much more than let the vineyard express itself, and with this honesty they achieve a wine that is not forgotten.
