Tenuta dei Sette Cieli 'Yantra' Toscana IGT 2023

Tenuta Sette Cieli is located between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, on the coast of Tuscany at 400 meters above sea level. The Estate sprawls out over 80 hectares, 10 of which are set up as vineyards. Dry stone wall terraces separate the different grape varieties grown: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec, are planted at high density in an ideal terrain for grape viticulture. The Estate overlooks Bolgheri and its landscapes made up of gently down sloping hills that enclose the sea, thus creating a fantastic mild and temperate microclimate.

Fully respecting nature and the vines, Tenuta dei Sette Cieli has chosen organic viticulture to cooperate to the safekeeping of the environment, a value that cannot be separated from quality when working with nature. 

Yantra is a vivacious wine, freshly persistent fruitiness, interesting for its complex simplicity. Harmonious, geometrical, born from the research of a universally pleasing wine, fresh with red fruit aromas. This balanced meeting between simplicity and vivaciousness, results in a pleasing and lively wine.

Aging occurs in French oak barrels for 6 months (60-gallon; 4–6 years old).

"Made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot grown on higher elevation vines, the 2023 Yantra was aged in 4-, 5-, and 6-year-old barrels. Pouring a youthful magenta hue, its nose is floral and inviting, with aromas of fresh violets, mixed berries, and wet stones. Medium-bodied, it has more verticality, fine tannins, and a refreshing, approachable feel. A total charmer, it’s also a great value and a good option for by-the-glass programs.
