Behind Saíñas is a couple of electrical engineers, Saleta and Jorge, who leave behind a life full of travel, science and light to return to their homeland and recover a family project. The Adega Saiñas vineyard is a collection of historic, old-vine sites across distinct terroirs in Espasantes (Ribeira Sacra), which are now farmed with great precision. The combination of these jaw-dropping old vineyards with the analytical care of the current owners and the winemaking guidance of Luis Seabra is what now produces wines of singular quality and expression.

Minimal intervention. The wine is a pure expression of the unique Clima vineyard in Valdeorras. Hand-harvested. Fermented with wild yeasts in open French oak vats. Aged for 11 months in a combination of used French oak barrels and large foudres.
