Bodegas Morca - Garnacha Touran 2022

Bodegas Morca 'Touran' Garnacha is a captivating red wine hailing from the Campo de Borja appellation in Spain, a region renowned for its Garnacha (Grenache) grape production. The vineyards in Campo de Borja benefit from a continental climate with hot summers and cool nights, ideal for growing Garnacha grapes. The arid, rocky soils imbue the grapes with intense flavors and complexity. 

The grapes for Tourán Garnacha come from small plots with low yields that are picked by hand and fermented separately in small stainless steel tanks. The wine is then put into French oak barrels to complete the malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 22 months in these same barrels. Each barrel of Tourán Garnacha is tasted individually, and after a strict selection a limited production of this exclusive wine is obtained

The palate offers extensive flavors of black plum, blackberry, licorice, black pepper, graphite and cinnamon, and these characteristics linger in length on the finish.
