Established in Tours-sur-Marne in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is a family-owned and independent Champagne House that has always played a pioneering and innovative role in Champagne. Through its commitment to sustainable viticulture in the Champagne vineyards, and through each of its Cuvées, the House has built its success around 3 unique savoir-faire: blending reserve wines, maceration and non-dosage.
Chardonnay 100 % from the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Cramant, Oiry, Chouilly) and from the Montagne de Reims (Tours-sur-Marne, Villers-Marmery, Rilly La Montagne). The grapes are strictly selected to retain only those that have both a high potential degree and a low acidity, allowing the wine to achieve the desired balance without the addition of any dosage. Aged 8 years.
“Lots of white flowers with fresh and dried apples plus hints of bread dough. Asian pears. Medium- to full-bodied with density, velvety texture and a very dry finish. Flavorful and slightly bitter with richness, structure and class.” - 95 Points, James Suckling
“Reflecting this producer’s predilection for dry Champagnes, this wine is crisp, with minerality and tight citrus fruits. The wine is beautifully textured, needing a few more months in bottle.” - 93 Points, Wine Enthusiast
“A brilliant but pale yellow hue, the NV Champagne Blanc De Blancs Brut Nature is the third release of this cuvée. It’s a fresh style true to the house with notes of white peach, pear, citrus blossoms, and chalky powder. Sixty percent comes from 2016 and the rest from 2014 in this release. Medium-bodied, it’s spritely and linear, with a bright spine of refreshing acidity, a delicate elegance, and a refined, lively mousse.” - 91 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
