Voirin-Jumel - Champagne Grand Cru 'La V.1' Blanc de Blancs NV

Voirin-Jumel arelocally produced, precise and delicate Champagnes. The domain is located in Cramant, a prestigious village "Grand Cru" of the côte des Blancs. They have been a farm for 5 generations. taking care of creating Champagnes worthy of the legendary Grand Cru terroirs.

Composed of 100% Chardonnay from all grand cru vineyard plots (Chouilly, Oiry. Cramant), this release is normally a blend of 2 vintages. It has floral and citrus aromas, a creamy texture with a fleeting note of apricot, and a long, fine, and mineraled finish. Great as an aperitif, this champagne also works well at the table with seafood and sushi.

Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Dosage: 5 GR/L. A blend of the 2021 base with 40% réserve perpétuelle. 

This is a super-fresh and lively style, with a tensile quality that keeps everything focused and driven. On the nose, it speaks loudly of its grand cru origins, with bright citrus, florals and cool mineral notes. The palate is alleviated from its strong mineral grip by some nice mid-palate fruit intensity and light creaminess borrowed from Cramant. The finish is of medium length. A really enjoyable aperitif-style champagne that is also one of the best value for money.
